General Financial Aid

Students in the department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering (BAE) are eligible to apply for funding from four sources, Oklahoma State University (OSU), the College of Engineering and Technology (CEAT), the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR), and through the BAE department.


Each year the Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering awards more than 30 scholarships to incoming and continuing students, with a total value of nearly $45,000. These scholarships are in addition to scholarships awarded by OSU, CEAT, and CASNR.

BAE Scholarships & History

Incoming Freshmen

If you are an incoming freshmen, applying for scholarships couldn't be easier! It is done automatically for you when you apply to OSU. All you need to do is indicate on the application that you will be enrolling as a BAE student. You must submit a completed OSU admission application by February 1st.

Continuing Students

Continuing students must re-apply each year for scholarships. All applications must be done online and it is the students responsibility to ensure they complete the applications in time. The CEAT continuing scholarship application can be found here and is due by February 1st The CASNR continuing student scholarship is listed here (bottom of page) and is due by January 15th.
