I am an Environmental Engineer by profession. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University in December 2011. While working in the civil engineering industry, I began to focus exclusively on water and wastewater projects while providing design services for rural water districts across the state. I became a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Oklahoma in May 2016, and received my Kansas P.E. license in April 2018. I have now returned to OSU to pursue a Master of Science degree in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering; I am pursuing this degree while working full-time. The focus of my graduate study is to deepen my knowledge of water treatment, wastewater treatment, water quality analysis, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling and water distribution design. I intend to utilize the concepts learned in this program to find practical applications in my design work and volunteer work in professional engineering organizations. I am involved with organizations such as the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Southwest Section, National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Region V, Oklahoma Engineering Foundation (OEF) Board of Trustees, and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), where I currently serve as the Oklahoma City Branch Secretary.
