ABOUT ME

”He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say unto my Lord he is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust…” (Psalm 91, Holy Bible King James Version). I have success because of the trust I put in my God. I follow him above all else, and will not compromise my faith to conform to a standard. Due to my faith, I am able to maintain a high level of composure. No one can know everything and therefore it is my opinion that ignorance is the basis for most mistakes, not vengeance. Thence, it is my job to maintain equanimity with others instead of degrading and berating them for making mistakes. This mentality assists me in part of my graduate appointment. Half of my appointment includes a teaching assistantship in which I am responsible for laboratory setup/teardown and assisting the professor. I also guide the students in hands on activities. My composure assists me with the other half of my graduate appointment, research. I can program in Python and LabView and have designed and tested prototypes for multiple projects. I am actively involved in the production of these prototypes with our machine shop, learning from them and understanding how products are manufactured. My mentality of a hands on approach and active learning causes myself to perform most of the maintenance on my own vehicle and property.
